Scottsdale, AZ--March 30, 2000--Integrated Circuit Engineering (ICE)announced that Michael Farrier has joined its organization as vice presidentof technical consulting.
Farrier has 23 years experience in the development of CMOSprocesses and CCD imaging device technology. His areas of expertise includeInfrared focal plane readout design, cryogenic and radiation tolerant CMOS,backside thinning, custom packaging, and CMOS APS technology.
His design and process innovations have resulted in nine US patent awards and two Fairchild technical achievement awards.
Farrier has held positions with Fairchild CCD Imaging division, Xerox, Hughes-Santa Barbara Research Center, and most recently DALSA, Inc.
Farrier received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics (1975) and a Master of Science degree in Engineering Science (1977) from the University of California, Berkley.
