SAN JOSE, Calif. IC prototyping tool startup Giga Scale Integration Corp. has appointed EDA and Semiconductor veteran Adam Traidman as its new president and CEO.
Traidman joins Giga Scale IC from Hier Design, where he was Business Development Manager, responsible for North American West sales.
He's also management and technical positions at Adaptec, Monterey Design Systems, Texas Instruments and the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
He is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and holds a BS in Computer and Systems Engineering.
Traidman replaces Vin Ratford, who left Giga Scale to join AccelChip earlier this year. Traidman will report to George Janec, founder and chairman of Giga Scale.
"I am inspired by the benefit and opportunity Giga Scale IC's chip estimation products offer," remarked Adam Traidman in a statement. "In the next months, we will introduce products that will make it possible for every designer to get an early idea of what their design costs."
