SUNNYVALE, Calif. Monterey Design Automation Inc. has announced version 1.2 of Dolphin, its complete IC physical design solution. The new version calculates the path delays induced by crosstalk interactions on interconnects.
New timing analysis technology, to be revealed in a Design Automation Conference paper by Carnegie-Mellon University, lets Dolphin 1.2 analyze multiple aggressors for a victim net and produce accurate results. The new release also boasts improvements in clock tree synthesis and logic optimization, as well as increased compatibility with third-party tools, according to Monterey Design, based here.
Dolphin 1.2 is available now on Unix platforms starting at $420,000.
