WAYNE, N.J. The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) released Monday (Jan. 31) today announced the availability of a regulatory database that provides an online reference for worldwide regulatory requirements.
According to the SIG, the database serves as a guide in preparing a member's products for various markets and choosing the best strategy for different approvals, such as type approval, in countries throughout the world. The database has been developed and will remain current by facilitating information sharing and member collaboration on everything required to safely reach markets worldwide, from spectrum management via the certification process to field knowledge.
More information about the regulatory database can be found at http://programs.Bluetooth.org/regulatory/index.cfm.
