SAN FRANCISCORepresentatives from Altera Corp. and model-based design software vendor The Mathworks will present a series of joint seminars on military, aerospace and defense productivity to showcase their DSP development flow, the companies said Monday (April 6).
Altera (San Jose) and The Mathworks (Natick, Mass.) will present an end-to-end tool flow for algorithm modeling, simulation and implementation of sophisticated military and aerospace applications in Altera FPGAs. Altera will also present its long-range DSP technical roadmap and support plan, the company said.
The seminars will held on location at customer facilities throughout North America and Europe, according to the companies.
Altera and The MathWorks will demonstrate an advanced-sensor front-end design example that delivers sustained 175-GMACS performance and a system clock rate of 350 MHz in a Stratix IV GX FPGA, the companies said. This system was developed using The MathWorks Simulink design tool and Altera's DSP Builder Advanced Blockset, they said.
