MOSCOW Elekond recently developed a novel tantalum MOS-type capacitor chip designed for special-purpose electronic devices. It features protected structure, low impedance and leakage currents.
In Russia, products of foreign manufacturers are prevailing. To gain marketshare, Russian manufacturers must come up regularly with innovative products.
Elekond's K53-66 is a commercial version of a polarized tantalum capacitor in a sealed steel case. Developers used high-capacity tantalum powders to provide this capacitor with superior specific capacity characteristics compared to other domestic clones.
The overall size has been reduced by 1.6-2 times, and weight by 1.1-3.5 times from previous generations.
The rated voltage of K53-66 products ranges within 6.3-50V for ranges within 0.22-1,000µF. The minimal failure-free time is 30-200 thousand hours. The operating temperature range is - 60 deg. C to +125 deg. C.
