LONDON Gigle Semiconductor, a developer of home networking chips, has nine jobs on offer at its website. The positions vary from SOC designer, through embedded firmware engineer to physical design team leader.
Most of jobs are flexible in that they could be located in either Barcelona, Spain or Edinburgh, Scotland however, the embedded firmware and system validation positions are only Barcelona based.
The physical design team leader position requires more than five years experience as does the standardization engineer. Gigle is also seeking a project manager, a networking applications engineer, a verification engineer and a senior SOC design engineer.
Gigle expects most of its engineering team to be prepared to travel extensively and considers multilingual capability including Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and Scottish (Scottish?) a bonus. No payment of money in return for the work is mentioned but there probably is some.
