LONDON Renesas Technology Europe, subsidiary of Japanese semiconductor company Renesas Technology Corp., has announced that Tsutomu Miki has been appointed to become chief executive officer of Renesas Technology Europe Ltd. on April 1, 2009. Current CEO Matthew Trowbridge is due to take up the position of chairman of Renesas Technology Europe from that date and remain a director of the company.
Miki's previous position was as deputy general manager of Renesas' microcontroller business unit and general manager of Renesas' automotive semiconductor business Unit. Miki remains a managing officer of Renesas Technology Corp.
Miki is currently working in Renesas Technology Europe's office in Dornach, Munich as CEO designate, as a director of Renesas Technology Europe Ltd. and as Geschaeftsfuehrer of Renesas Technology Europe GmbH.
