PARIS The Open SystemC Initiative (OSCI) announced the newly-launched Taiwan SystemC Users Group (TSCUG) is hosting its first forum on Nov. 16 in Hsinchu.
The first TSCUG forum features two tracks, one for user experience and another for academic and design.
The purpose of the forum is to highlight STARC's efforts with TLM-2.0 modeling guidelines, achievements in ESL research and standardization over the years and ESL practices in industry projects.
The "Is Taiwan Ready for ESL?" debate with panelists from academy, industry and research institute will also discuss what Taiwan can do to move forward in ESL.
Taiwan has initiated a host of ESL movements in education, training, standardization and industrialization since 2005. User forums like TSCUG aims to strengthen OSCI's mission and its dedication to providing mechanisms that allow collaboration and information exchange among members of the global ESL community.
The event, free of charge to the electronic design community, is taking place at the Ambassador Hotel in Hsinchu. The full program is available here.
