Munich, Germany - National Instruments will host its 13th annual customer and technology conference "Virtuelle Instrumente in der Praxis - VIP 2008". The company will offer comprehensive technical content in various technology and application lectures, a large exhibition, workshops, and trial courses. The topics of the technology lectures will include "Test and Measurement techniques", "Dynamic test of infotainment and telematic systems" as well as "Strategies for efficient recording, managing, and analysing of testdata". The congress will also include four technology panels "Mechatronic", "FPGAs in practical use", "Embedded and Multicore programming", and "Green Engineering". The Academic-Track at the second day will introduce academic main focuses and enables the discussion with colleagues from universities. For the first time there will be an additional day following the VIP on Friday, 10th of October especially for lecturers and trainers.
In tutorials and trial courses the participants will learn the hard and software products of NI in their application. 30 Partners and systems integrators will present their newest solutions and applications at the accompanying exhibition. The panel discussion "Improved process and energy efficiency" will round out the congress. Experts will discuss how latest technologies and Green Engineering enable improved process and energy efficiency as well as the sustained and energy-saving realisation of industrial applications. The conference language will be German.
