Intel & Micron co-develop NAND Flash technologies. So anything related to Micron also refer to Intel.

It's too bad Intel didn't spend that money they spent on McAfee building a couple of fabs to take advantage of the process lead that they have, and also, to beat back Samsung. IMHO it would have been better use of the money than to spend it buying a virus checker company. That one made no sense to me.

Easy pitch division is the advantage of NAND Flash memory. Quadruple patterning by spacer process is known art which can get down to 10 nm.

Definitely 1X nm by 2012, it's on Samsung and Sandisk roadmaps.

The pace of NAND flash is frightening. Next year we should see something like 18 nm.
