BANGALORE, India -- IPC, the electronic interconnect industry association based in Bannockburn, Ill., is opening an office here as part of a plan to offer electronics manufacturing and training facilities in India.
The Indian office will be headed by Akshinthala Vijayendra and will initially focus on providing training, conferences and other services. Vijayendra specializes in pc-board design, fabrication and production.
IPC said the India office will offer courses and certification, including advanced courses in electronics assembly and repair. Its consultancy division will offer help in trouble shooting and repair.
