Looks like more consolidation in IC manufacturing as well as attempted leveling of the DRAM playing field.

DRAM will eventually level out completely. Powerchip just validated all that we have been expecting.

Thinning of the DRAM manufacturer pool is necessary for the overall long-term survival of the DRAM industry. This is a positive step towards that necessity.
