I too would love to have more information and costs for these. They look like a great part (if they are at the right price). Wondering and hoping..

This is marvelous technology. Caltech and UC Irvine have been developing it for years. Not degenerate, though, so higher performance not possible. A new generation of symmetrical devices are coming out soon with drift rates as low as 0.02 deg/hr and ARW of 0.003 deg/ rt hr and thermally compensated by a firm in California.

Any idea on the expected cost per unit when purchasing 1k units?

For crash prevention the outputs of MEMS sensors need to be foolproof, since only milliseconds can make the difference between life and death during a major accident. ADI's quad-differential gyros use redundancy and differential noise cancellation to nix any sensor mistakes before they happen.
