Yet another example of the benefits of flexible connections enabled by carbon nanotubes or graphene. It sounds like carbon is making a resurgence this year - and these solutions have the benefit of not adding any rare earths or toxic materials to the circuits.

Superior for voltage transfer to switch gates on, but a little questionable for power transfer.

700 C processing obviously won't fly, and pre-manufacturing the nanotubes and mechanically plugging vias with them sounds really expensive.

Although apparently crude, or perhaps non-elegant, this looks practical enough to be realised ahead of many other solutions.
