It is amazing how BlackBerry and Apple have created a new growth industry. I think this industry has a lot of upward momentum despite obvious sign of commoditization coming in coming years.

Yes, we are nowhere near the peak of the mobile/smartphone market.

Apple rolls their own, so that's a huge swath of the market not available to independent AP vendors. Which I think hurts Apple in the long run as they may not be looking and using the best available, but only that which internal folks can muster. Overall there will be a tremendous need to upgrade processor speeds/feeds/power as all kinds of new sensor networks and applications will require lots of efficient compute that current APs could not hope to handle.
