Price is a key element to most consumer electronics. I am sure Intel can cut the price to an attractive point. The question whether they will do it and whether it will bring enough customers to have impact to the market. One factor that Intel has to pay attention to is the consolidation of platform. Product vendors are looking for ways to reduce number of products. A STB and a smartphone vendors will be more interested in using a low power MCU with a reasonable price.

I cannot wait to see how ARM is doing. ARM is eating into Intel territory and I think time has come for Intel to focus more on ARM over AMD. AMD and Intel are no more in the same league. The challenge is ARM.
