These are the mostly awaited change in the processors. Once this devices are incorporated in the processor designs it will surely reduce the design complexities as that will become the part of device manufacturer.

Samsung would never touch x86, and ARM in laptops is far-fetched at this point for a number of reasons: compatibility, performance, and Intel's ever-shrinking process tech. Servers are a different matter, but remember the chip Samsung has slated for 2014 is going to be competing with Intel's 14nm architecture. The outcome is far from decided.

In 3 years Samsung will have a SOC chip targeting each of these markets Smartphones, tablets, laptops, servers. Intel should be very very nervous about Samsung.
