I hope AMD will look at opportunities that don't include competition with Intel. There are many ways they can move the company to grow without moving in the same direction as Intel.

It is true that Intel won't go away. But thinking that life must just be Intel versus AMD forever, and just that, is old-fashioned thinking. Jack Harding's perspective of an extended but efficient supply chain that helps fabless chip companies be agile should help change that mindset.

Jack is a leader. I wish him good luck. The challenge AMD faces is not the one anyone can solve. Intel will not disappear because Jack is on board. It is just that tough,
