The piggybacking of high speed download communications on ambient lighting systems seems very clever (and has been discussed for some time). Two questions come to mind. First, will sunlit halls be abolished because we depend upon the artificial lights as our communications carrier? Second, what is the plan for our devices to upload requests where wireless technologies are unfit for safety reasons? Will we be depending upon lights in our devices that must be aimed at designated receiving points and distract our neighbors?
