MANHASSET, NY -- At the TSMC Open Innovation Platform Forum held in San Jose, Calif.this week, Cosmic Circuits received the TSMC "Analog/Mixed Signal IP Partner of the Year" Award for 2010. The award recognizes Cosmic Circuits’ contributions to TSMC’s IP Alliance Program. The Bangalore, India based company is a analog/mixed-signal silicon IP core provider.
Cosmic Circuits and other category winners were selected based on customer feedback, TSMC-9000 compliance, technical support excellence, and customer IP usage.
"We are pleased to have been awarded the IP Partner of the year 2010 by TSMC for the category of Analog and Mixed Signal and consider this recognition as culmination of our efforts and focus in offering TSMC silicon proven cores in 65nm and 40nm," said Ganapathy Subramaniam, CEO of Cosmic Circuits, in a statement.
Last month Cosmic Circuits launched the 3rd edition of the analog design contest "Nebula". The contest is intended to promote interest in analog design among undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students, and is open to all Indian universities.
Spread over three rounds and three months, Nebula provides every student to begin the journey at the fundamentals, and concludes it by designing an analog system to address a complex, real-world challenge.
Cosmic Circuits was founded in 2005 and has a portfolio of 200+ cores in nanometer process nodes of leading foundries. The three top executives come with many years of analog/mixed-signal experience at Texas Instruments before joining at Cosmic Circuits.
