What I'd like is an inexpensive device to measure power use in the home. How about an interposer in an electrical outlet that measures and reports power use thru the outlet? Can I get one for a couple of $?

This seems to be an excellent means of measuring power.Avoiding the accuracy problems associated with the magnetic methods are a good move. How about the smallest power it can measure? Is there any cost figures available?

When I read the title, I thought "what's new?" I guess the real story is the accuracy of the measurement has been improved?
