It seems only fair to me that the use of tablets for viewing TV or movies or for videochat as seen in this example, http://www.fetelenorocoase.ro/afla-acum-totul-despre-videochat/ has increased. These tablets are very handy and versatile and it makes it easy for anyone to watch something anywhere. I am sure this trend will continue and more people will use tables in the close future.

There is no way that I would choose to view video on a tablet when I have the option of a theater experience in my own living room. Tablet and laptop video is useful on an airplane or during travel. Why would anyone want to watch video on a tablet at home? Particularly when every device that you buy for home theater can directly read streams from all the major video sources.

No wonder tablets will become the most used for viewing video programs in the future.

"TVs still remain the primary device of choice for viewing TV content, with 30% of consumers reporting that they view TV/video content on TVs alone." while that may be true, did the report actually ask if these people were using these HDTV's with the inbuilt DVB(2) etc over the air, cable and sat tuners or as is more likely today only using these large HDTV's as mere monitor inputs for their mobile/digital/STB streaming PC consumption ? i for one have zero use of so called real TV over the air, cable, sat inputs on these larger HDTV's. as the UK virgin media cable don't even allow you to connect a generic DVB-C card with decoder and their subscriber cards to their cable only their crep STB's with no Ethernet LAN streaming and no direct transport stream to PC capability's, its all very primitive in fact . and the new UK DVB-T2/S2 1080P PCI cards are few and far between .... web and LAN streaming is by far the better option to these HDTV's today and with 2012 Olympics starting there in 18 days ,this HD streaming option is the only real way to keep the high quality video we want to see and use now even if that is connected to a larger HDTV HDMI input as dumb digital mobile/static/PC feed
