SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- SandCraft Inc., a developer of high-performance MIPS-compatibleCPU designs, has announced the promotion of Anna Chiang to director of marketing.
Chiang has more than 12 years of product marketing and applications engineering experience in the semiconductor industry. Previously senior marketing manager, she will now be responsible for the complete range of marketing activities for the company, including marketing strategy, product definition and positioning, marketing communications, and marketing operations.

Prior to joining SandCraft, Chiang was a marketing strategist for microprocessor products at Sun Microsystems Inc.; a senior product marketing manager for 2-D/3-D graphics accelerators at S3 Inc.; and held various product marketing and applications engineering positions at VLSI Technology Inc. in the ASIC and application-specific standard product groups.
She received her BSEE from the University of California at Berkeley and MSEM from Stanford University.
