BILLERICA, Mass. -- PRI Automation Inc. today appointed Robert Postle to vice president and general manager of PRI's Factory Systems Division. Postle had been PRI's vice president of worldwide sales and international operations prior to today's announcement.
"Bob Postle has been instrumental in expanding PRI's worldwide markets and establishing our global sales and support infrastructure," noted Mitch Tyson, president and chief executive officer of PRI Automation. "Under Bob's leadership, PRI has grown and expanded its market share in each of the key semiconductor manufacturing regions worldwide. He brings extensive knowledge of our customer base and our products to his new position and will continue the work of delivering the company's next-generation, 300-mm integrated factory automation systems."
Postle joined PRI in 1994 and has over 20 years of semiconductor industry experience. Postle held senior management positions at Ulvac Technologies and ASM Ion Implant. He was also founder and president of Xertronix Corp., a semiconductor products company sold to Eastman Kodak in 1985.
