CHASKA, Minn. -- Entegris Inc. has promoted Richard M. Lemons to senior vice president of its Integrated Shipping Systems Business. Lemons served as vice president of global sales and marketing for Empak Inc. prior to its recent merger with Fluoroware to form Entegris.
Lemons will be responsible for overall planning and operational results for the business, which manufactures wafer and disk shipping systems for the semiconductor and disk drive industries, respectively.
"Our shipping systems are the most cost-effective assurance of materials' integrity for wafer manufacturers, disk media manufacturers and hard disk drive producers in the industry," said Lemons. "With the merger, Entegris has global manufacturing capability, as well as the infrastructure to provide exceptional service and support to our worldwide customer base on a local scale."
Prior to joining Empak, Lemons spent nine years as vice president of sales and marketing at Knight Advanced Technologies Facilities in Phoenix, a designer and builder of cleanrooms. Lemons also was an engineer for Texas Instruments Inc. where he was responsible for the design and construction of TI's first Class 10 cleanroom.
