CHASKA, Minn. -- Entegris Inc. here announced the promotion of Frank D. Sidell II to senior vice president of the Critical Fluid Management Business. Sidell also serves as president of Entegris Upland Inc., the new subsidiary created by the recent acquisition of Mace products from Osmonics Inc. (see Oct. 5 story). Sidell will continue to report to Entegris executive vice president Jim Dauwalter.
Sidell noted that Entegris' comprehensive product line is backed by the company's extensive material science and product characterization. "These advanced capabilities enable us to provide thorough and meaningful data for customers' application-specific products," he said.
Sidell served for two years as vice president of the Critical Fluid Management Business at Fluoroware, which merged in July with Empak Inc. to form Entegris. He began his tenure at Fluoroware in 1987 as a product manager for the Wafer Management Business and was promoted in 1990 to vice president of European operations.
