Releasing some good news for the industry today, SiGe Semiconductor, Inc. has announced another record-setting year of growth, with greater than 350 million units shipped since the company's inception. The company expects 2008 full year revenues to be approximately US $98 million (40% growth over last year) with shipments of more than 120 million units during the year.
This is the fifth year in a row of growth for the company, which recently expanded its operations in the US as well as in Hong Kong, Japan, and Taiwan.
With customers working in the consumer, mobile, and computing marketplace, SiGe Semiconductor focuses on devices for wireless local area networks (802.11b/g/a and Wi-Fi), Bluetooth, WiMAX, GPS, and home entertainment systems.
