Interesting and useful article, but I can't seem to get to part 2, even if I search Planet Analog on some key terms (High side, micrel...) - could this be sorted out?  Thanks

Where it says:


"The pass element operates in the linear region to pass the current from the power source to the load, as a switch does (as opposed to an amplifier)."


I think linear should be changed to non-linear, as it is acting like a switch, and switches ideally should be hard on or hard off.
