Lossless Compression of Audio Data - Part 2
Part 2 of this article on lossless audio data compression continues its focus on the key principles - including multiple-channel redundancy, prediction, and entropy coding - and discusses some practical system design issues.
Using the DaVinci APIs to speed video development
APIs provided by TI's new DSP architecture enable developers to focus on applications without having to spend much time with video implementation issues and without having to program a DSP. The architecture also simplifies supporting multiple codecs, including H.264 and MPEG2, and updating codecs in the field as standards evolve.
