What about using an Permanent Magnet core to vibrate within a coil? Seems like one could rectify the picked up AC and put it into a storage medium (Capacitor, battery, ecell..)

Which current produces the device at 3.6-V DC output using 60 Hz 1g RMS vibration? Is the voltage has below 5% ripple, which is demanded by majority of the chips?
