FENTON, Mo. The precision loop-powered, two-wire current transducers in CR Magnetics Inc.'s CR4320 series are designed to monitor electrical-motor loads.
The transducers produce a calibrated 4- to 20-mA dc output that is proportional to the average rms value of the input alternating current. The constant-current output signal is unaffected by variations in loop voltage or resistance and thus can provide accurate current monitoring over long distances.
The series is permanently calibrated to plus/minus 0.5 percent accuracy. The insulation class is rated at 600 V. Response time is 200 ms from 10 to 90 percent of full scale.
The units are available in 12 standard current ranges from 0 to 5 through 0 to 400 ac amps. The series is available from stock, starting at $165 each in small quantities.
