NORWALK, Conn. Vectron International has a low-cost line of 70-MHz surface-acoustic-wave (SAW) filters targeted for such commercial applications as spectrum shaping in digital radio systems and general IF filtering for ground communications equipment.
The family consists of 40 standard 70-MHz bandpass filters, with bandwidths ranging from 0.25 MHz to 40 MHz. The filters are housed in a six-pin version of industry-standard 14-pin and 18-pin DIPs.
Pricing is set at less than $35 each in 1,000-piece quantities. The lead time is eight weeks.
