BOISE, IDAHO Micron Technology is sampling 133-MHz, 128-Mbyte (PC133) synchronous DRAMs in 32 x 4 (MT48LC32M4A2TG), 16 x 8 (MT48LC16M8A2TG) and 8 x 16 (MT48LC8M16A2TG) configurations. It's also sampling the 128-Mbyte small-outline DIMM (MT8LSDT1664HG), 256-Mbyte unbuffered DIMM (MT16LSDT3264AG) and 256-Mbyte ECC unbuffered DIMM (MT18LSDT3272AG).
The high-density components, built in the company's 0.18-micron process, are priced to compete with PC100 parts. A 16 x 8 configuration runs $18 to $20, Micron said.
