UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J. -Pentek Inc. has made a new addition to its line of velocity interface mezzanine (VIM) boards, the Model 6227, a parallel digital I/O board. Geared for mounting onto DSP boards based on Texas Instruments' C6x chips, the 6227 contains two 16-bit, data streaming parallel ports-one for input, one for output-plus a bidirectional, 16-bit control/status port, all operating at TTL levels.
With pricing starting at $995, the VIM board is available from eight to 10 weeks ARO.
