AYER, MASS. Hybricon Corp. has announced a series of 6U CompactPCI backplanes that comply with the H.110 computer-telephony (CTI) bus of the ECTF, plus the hot-swap and computer-telephony specifications of PICMG. Available with two to eight slots, they are designed "to ensure low signal crosstalk," said John O'Brien, vice president of marketing. They feature 3.3-V or 5-V switchable operating voltage, rear shrouds to prevent alignment problems with rear transition boards, a 32- or 64-bit bus and jumperless 33/66-MHz operation for units with five or fewer slots.
Pricing for a five-slot version starts at $596 each in five-unit lots, with delivery typically stock to six weeks.
