IVYLAND, PA. Cal-Chip Electronics has added size 0402 to its GMC series of multilayer ceramic chip capacitors for notebook computers, personal digital assistants and other applications that require high-density mounting.
The GMC series is said to feature stable COG temperature characteristics and low ESR. The capacitors are available in 16-V, 25-V and 50-Vdc and in capacitances from 0.5 pF to 1 microfarad. Their dielectric strength is 250 percent of rated voltage for 5 seconds at 50 mA maximum and they are available with NPO/COG, X7R and Y5V dielectrics.
Prices start at .007 cent in quantities of 10,000.
