Phoenix Two transistors from ON Semiconductor boast low saturation voltage, an aid in portable, battery-powered products. Both are said to reduce saturation voltage by up to 30 percent compared with traditional transistors. The 35-volt, 2-amp pnp MBT35200MT1 has emitter-collector saturation voltage of 0.125 V at 0.8 A and totes four pinouts to the collector for better power dissipation.
Each transistor is packaged in a TSOP-6 for a board-space saving of more than 75 percent compared with SOT223 and SOT89 packages, the company said. The MBT35200MT1 and MMBT6589T1 are priced at 28 and 30 cents respectively in quantities of 3,000.
