Milpitas, Calif. Elantec Semiconductor Inc. has expanded its line of current-feedback amplifiers (CFAs) with two devices operating at 600 MHz and another two that work at 300 MHz.
The dual EL5292C and triple EL5392C join the 600-MHz EL-5192C family. The EL5392C is aimed at computer video and other high-speed component video signal processing applications. Each part has a 3,400 volt per microsecond slew rate.
Elantec has added the dual EL52-93C and the triple EL5393C CFA devices to its 300-MHz EL5193C series. With supply current of 4 milliamps per-amplifier, the new parts are aimed at portable applications.
The dual parts are available in both eight-pin small-outline IC (SOIC) and 10-pin miniature small-outline packages. The two additional pins in the MSOP are said to allow for a high-speed enable/disable function. The triples are available in 16-pin SOICs and QSOPs, both with the enable/disable feature. In 1,000-piece quantities, the EL52-92C costs $2.72, the EL5392C costs $3.20, the EL5293C $2.21 and the EL-5393C $2.60.
