Glendale, Calif. - Crystal Mark Inc.'s Swam Blast line of manual and automatic micro-abrasive sandblasting equipment introduces a graded abrasive powder into a controlled stream of compressed gas through a miniature nozzle to remove conformal coatings or solder mask and oxidation. It can also be used for component de-marking, de-flashing and printed-circuit-board rework and repair. Nozzles are available from .006 to .09 inch and powders from 12 to 250 microns. Manual to automatic systems and job-shop services are also available.
