Middleboro, Mass. - Six plug-and-play PCI bus boards from Measurement Computing Corp. provide 64 single-ended or 32 differential 14-bit analog inputs with sample rates up to 3 MHz. Boards in the PCI-DAS64Mx/14 family also offer two 16-bit analog outputs, 32 bits of digital I/O and one 16-bit down counter.
The boards' analog outputs are updated via on-board FIFO at up to 100 kHz. Each board is equipped with burst-mode simultaneous sample-and-hold (SS&H) emulation. The board's burst mode-667 nanoseconds maximum sample skew/delay-is said to minimize channel-to-channel skew by clocking an A/D converter at a high rate between successive samples within a scan. The burst-mode timing allows users to simulate an SS&H front end.
The units are shipped with the company's InstaCal software program for data acquisition and control boards and are supported by the company's Universal Library and third-party software including SoftWire, DAS-Wizard, VEE and VEE Lab from Agilent Technology and LabView from National Instruments. Prices run from $1,799 to $4,499, and delivery is from stock.
