Instrument maker Gage Applied Technologies (Lachine, Quebec, Canada) is now debuting a 1-GHz bandwidth option on the company's popular CompuScope 82G digitizer plug-in cards for PCI bus systems.
The CompuScope 82G is a family of 2-Gsample/s digitizer cards. These cards typically run Gage's GageScope oscilloscope software, although other software can also support their use.
With this announcement, the CompuScope 82G now provides a 1.2-GHz bandwidth spec, giving you a 2-Gsample/s sampling rate on one channel, or 1-Gsample/s for two simultaneous channels. However, multi-card PCI bus systems can provide up to eight simultaneous channels of high-speed digitization.
These products also give you (optional) internal triggering, bus mastering capability, and multiple record features. They also tout on-board acquisition memory capacity up to a whopping 16-Mbytes.
For custom applications development, Gage offers software development kits (SDKs) for these products. using the SDKs, you can program in C, C++, MathWorks MatLab, or National Instruments LabVIEW.
