Gardena, Calif. J.W. Miller Magnetics' 2300 series of high current toroid inductors provide noise suppression for a variety of applications. Featuring a cost-effective, iron powder core that reduces the effect of coupling and undesirable conductive emissions, the new inductor family offers self-shielding, low core loss, and high current capacity.
Key performance characteristics of the 2300 series inductors include an inductance range of 10 to 1,000 μH with custom ranges available. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 105°C. They measure 1.28-inch in diameter and 0.65-inch in width (or height, depending on mounting configuration), and provide a 0.5-inch lead length tinned to within 1/16-inch of the body.
Available in horizontal and vertical mounting configurations, typical applications include dc/dc converters, differential mode chokes, EMI filtering, output chokes, smoothing coils, and power storage for computers and peripherals as well as switch mode power supplies.
The 2300 series is priced from $1.90 each in production quantities. Delivery is four to six weeks.
