Kulite introduced the DCT-1000 Series, an industrial OEM amplified IS pressure transducer for high reliability commercial and intrinsically safe applications. By coupling Kulite's unique solid state sensor with a miniature, state-of-the-art IC comprising a precision voltage regulator, a signal conditioning circuit and a microprocessor, Kulite claims to offer the most advanced industrial pressure transducer available on the market today. The DCT-1000 Series is designed to measure both liquid or gas pressure and features a factory programmable full scale 5V DC output as well as high overload capability. Benefiting from an all-welded stainless steel construction with integral pressure port and diaphragm, the transducers provide an extremely rugged, inexpensive and highly accurate means for pressure-to-voltage conversion. The ability to withstand high voltages between leads and cases make the DCT-1000 Series devices ideally suited to a large number of applications. Technical specifications of the DCT-1000 Series include an output impedance of 50 Ohms, a bandwidth from DC to 2500 Hz and an operating temperature range between -40 and +250C. Furthermore, the transducers can withstand linear vibration of 50g peak (Sine 10 to 2000 Hz), mechanical shock of 100g (half sine wave 1msec duration) and 100% relative humidity.
