Santa Clara, Calif. Targeting high volume, mainstream applications, Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. is offering a new low-capacitance, bidirectional ESD protection diode array in a SOT-143 SMD package. The new Vishay Semiconductors GCDA15C-1 diode array provides ESD protection in high-speed data lines, WAN/LAN equipment, wireless systems as well as ADSL, RS-232, RS-422, and V.90 interfaces.
Rated for an operating voltage of 15 V, the GCDA15C-1 offers excellent electrical performance with a typical capacitance of 5 pF, a maximum reverse leakage current of 100 μA, and a maximum clamping voltage value of 21 V. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C.
With compact dimensions of 1.25 x 2.85 mm with a 1.1-mm height profile, the GCDA15C device saves board space and simplifies board layouts, said the company. High-temperature soldering is guaranteed to 260°C/10 sec. at the terminals. The new device meets IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 specifications.
Available in tape-and-reel packaging, samples and production quantities are available now. Delivery is six to eight weeks for large orders. Pricing for U.S. delivery starts at $30.00 per 100 pieces in quantities of 100,000.
