Now shipping, a high resolution IEEE 1394 FireWire digital color camera offered by Bfi OPTiLAS International features ultra high resolution images with video like, full field of view, frame rates of up to 30fps.
Available with a 5 or 3.3 million pixel sensor, the MicroPublisher RTV with its video like frame rates simplifies scanning, framing and focusing. The high-resolution sensors product line eliminates the need for pixel-shifting or co-site sampling, which can cause image artifacts.
The camera also features 30-bit color digitization to produce high quality images for brightfield, dark-field and fluorescence work. With an IEEE 1394 FireWire digital interface the MicroPublisher RTV is easy to install requiring a single wire to connect the camera to a computer or laptop, eliminating the expense, installation problems and inconveniences associated with framegrabbers and external power supplies.
MicroPublisher RTV cameras are the first cameras on the market to combine video camera frame rates with the resolution, power and flexibility of a digital FireWire camera. This combination of speed and detail enables users to capture high quality images faster and more easily than ever before. MicroPublisher RTV cameras ship with software, for real time image preview and capture for both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS based systems.
The cameras are used to produce high resolution still images for publication, documentation, and archiving in brightfield, phase contrast and dark-field microscopy, fluorescence microscopy, pathology, histology, cytology, hematology, document imaging, and still image animation.
