San Diego, Calif. Eliminating common mode noise in high-speed networks using USB 2.0 and other high-speed differential signal transmission applications such as IEEE 1394 and LVDS, a new ChipChoke series of common mode chokes from Pulse, a Technitrol Company, can be used in PCs, scanners, printers, handheld devices, digital cameras, games, set-top boxes, and LCD displays.
Available in either 0805 or 1206 chip size packages, the ChipChoke CCMC series are available in three standard versions. One 0805 chip device, with an epoxy coating, offers impedance values of 67, 90, 120, or 180 ohms, while another 0805 model has a magnetic shield and impedances of 67, 90, 120, 180, 260, or 360 ohms. The 1206 product has a magnetic shield and impedances of 90,
160, 260, 600, 1000, or 2200 ohms. Detailed specifications are available on datasheet W712.
