San Diego, C.A.Peregrine Semiconductor Corporation announced the availability of the PE4269 SP6T RF antenna switch die for quad-band GSM Antenna Switch Modules (ASM). Manufactured using the company's "UltraCMOS" technology, the PE4269 is currently shipping into Japan and Korea to fulfill orders in the millions of units.
Based on the PE4263 antenna switch introduced in 2005, the new switch offers output power at 1-dB compression of +41 dBm and integrates key elements including a control logic decoder and driver. The PE4269 can be manufactured with semi-custom modifications in order to meet customer's exact specifications.
The 50-Ohm +2.6-VDC RF switch operates from 100 to 3000 MHz and features 1500 V ESD tolerance at all ports; no blocking capacitors; 45 dB of isolation; insertion loss of 0.55 dB at 915 MHz; and fast switch settling time.
The PE4269 is priced at $0.60 each in 10,000-piece quantities. It is available now in production quantities.
