Milwaukie, Ore.—The Rackguard RG1202 from Northwest Power Integrations, a subsidiary of Vicor Corp., is a 600-watt dual-input AC/DC and DC/DC rack-mounted power supply specifically engineered for supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems typically used to monitor and manage power lines from a central location.
The supply's AC input is 115/230 VAC, autoranging. Users may choose from two DC-input options: 48 volts (38-72V) or 150 volts (105-200V). The supply has two configurable and independent outputs, which provide up to 200 and 400 watts at up to 50 volts.
This convection cooled, rack-mount power supply measures 17-by-9.57-by-4.9 inches. A fully configured unit is approximately $2,900 each in low volume and is
