San Marcos, Calif. Sullins Electronics has expanded its high-temperature, high-density edgecard connector series to include staggered dip solder, card extender, surface-mount parts as well as a right-angle bend termination option.
The RoHS-compliant series, featuring 1.00 mm (.039”) contact centers, is designed for board-to-board interconnections of .062-in. ±.008-in. daughtercards. The double-row connectors provide 50 signals (contacts) per linear inch, and are rated to withstand 150°C continual heat.
Offering an extended temperature range of -65°C to 150°C, these connectors are recognized under the Component Program of UL and C-UL. They provide a single contact rating of 1 amp, and a nominal force of 1.5 N (150 grams) per contact. They feature high cycle hairpin bellow contacts in configurations ranging from 2/4 (positions/contacts) to 50/100 and selective gold plating.
